There are many places in your course where you might want to add links to external files and Web pages or add files directly into your course. For example, you might want to add links from a content item to a course tool, such as linking from an assigment to the Dropbox- directing students where to turn in their work or from a Threaded Discussion topic to a related content item.
To link to files directly in the course, you must first upload the files directly to File Manager.
Adding links is easy. Use the Visual Editor toolbar to add links to external files, images, and Websites. There's a simple process for adding links, and it's the same process no matter where you are in your course. The Add Link window helps you add links to external files and Web pages, and to tools and content items within your individual course.
