Student Access Answers: Question: When do students access my course shell? Answer: Students can access all course shells on the first day of the active semester at 12:01 am. Question: How do students access my Pearson LearningStudio shell? Answer: For face-to-face students there are two optons for students to access Pearson LearningStudio course shells. Question: How long can students access my Pearson LearningStudio shell? Answer: Students have access to current semester Pearson LearningStudio courses from the first day of classes until two weeks after the end of the semester.
Enrollment Answers: Question: How are student enrollments handled in my Pearson LearningStudio shell? Answer: When faculty request a course shell, the Koeher staff flags the course requested in PeopleSoft. The Koehler staff runs the enrollment program for Pearson LearningStudio which pulls student enrollments from courses flagged in People Soft. The course number in People Soft is also listed in Pearson LearningStudio which identifies which students get enrolled into which Pearson LearningStudio course shell. Question: How do I know if all my students are listed in my Pearson LearningStudio course shell? Answer: To verify your enrollments you will need to use your electronic roster in People Soft found in the Faculty Center area in my.tcu.edu and compare the list of students from your e-roster with your course enrollments in Pearson LearningStudio. To verify enrollments in Pearson LearningStudio please login to your course shell, select Course Admin tab, select Course Enrollments button. Course Enrollments in your Pearson LearningStudio shell will provide date and time of enrollments as well as students who have dropped. Question: How does my Teaching Assistant or Graduate Assistant get enrolled in my Pearson LearningStudio course shell? Answer: The Koehler staff can enroll TA's, GA's, guest facutly, students auditing your course, or students doing an independent study. Only the Koehler staff can enroll faculty, students, TA's, guests, or audits in Pearson LearningStudio. To request a manual enrollment, please write to the eLearning email alias: elearning@tcu.edu.
Name and Password Answers: Question: How do I change my name in Pearson LearningStudio? Answer: Log into Pearson LearningStudio, and select MY PROFILE on the right side of the screen. Edit your name, then scroll down and select UPDATE. The screen will say “Your profile has been updated.” You can then continue on to your courses by selecting the COURSES tab on the top left side of the screen. Question: How do I change my password in Pearson LearningStudio? Answer: Log into Pearson LearningStudio, and select MY PROFILE on the right side of the screen. Edit your new password in the “Password” and “Confirm Password” fields, then scroll down and select UPDATE. The screen will say “Your profile has been updated.” You can then continue on to your courses by selecting the COURSES tab on the top left side of the screen. **NOTE: It may take up to 15 minutes for the update to take effect. This means that you could be locked out of the system for up to 15 minutes. It is recommended that you change your password when you are logging out.

Email Answers: Question:Why are all of my emails from Pearson LearningStudio saying they are coming from one person/former student or faculty member, regardless of which class it is? Answer: Emails sent from Pearson LearningStudio, are masked by a generic email account when sent through the system. This generic email gets saved in Entourage or Outlook, and then all emails from the system say they are from the same person.
