eInstruction - Importing Files and Databases from the M: Drive

To import files and a database from the your personal storage (M:) drive or flash drive to CPS, you must follow these steps:

  1. Ensure all files are in one folder on your M: drive or flash drive. If you have PPT files or Examview files that are not in the folder with the CPS database, this will cause issues of engaging the questions in the class.

  2. Open CPS and import the CPS database from your M drive or you flash drive – be sure you are on the Prepare tab.

  3. Once the database is imported, you will now select PPT or Examview and select ADD FILES option on Prepare tab.

  4. You should have all associated files now linked to your PPT and Examviews.

  5. Copy the file folder from your M drive or flash drive to the computer you will be working from or teaching from.
